PM - 4 easy miles outside. It was a relatively balmy 94 degrees outside tonight, compared to a couple days ago, so it felt pretty nice outside. I decided I was going to do 4 miles today and was able to do it feeling pretty good. I still need to lose a lot of weight, but at least my running form is starting to come around. I will keep it easy for several months - no speedwork - so that I can build up my base. I would love to be able to do London's Run next year and break 1:30 (for that matter, I would love to run around 1:25), but we will see how things go a day at a time. I also decided to start logging my food intake at mypyramidtracker.gov, instead of trying to go back on weight watchers. They have several tools there that can help me determine where I need to work on improving my diet, and I will be logging my exercise there as well. |
