Yay! I finally got to get out and run a little bit again. I never did go see a doctor about my foot, just rested it for quite a bit, and will see how things go, but I am going to start running again, nice and easy. Did 2 easy miles in the evening (monsoon weather) that let me know my fitness has really taken a nosedive since I stopped running due to the foot injury. Felt pretty good, put some ice on the foot afterwards as a precaution, and will see how things feel tomorrow to see if I do another couple miles in the evening. Average pace of 7:45/mile. |
