Hooray! I am back to running again after several months due to a stress fracture! I went out today during lunch and ran 4 easy miles. I could tell I was out of shape. Although the run felt very good, and there was no pain in my foot whatsoever, and I was running at an easy pace (8:30 pace), my legs were pretty tired at the end, and I was sweating pretty good, even though it wasn't terribly hot. I will probably only do 3 miles tomorrow to be a little easier on the legs, but boy does it feel good to be back running. There is just nothing quite like it. |
