4 easy miles today at about 7:48 pace. Felt very easy, no problems with the knee. Went to my chiropractor again today to get adjusted before the race, so this was kind of a shake-out run to make sure everything was in working order. Looking forward to tomorrow. Here are my goals: Gold: 1:28 Silver: 1:30 Bronze: 1:32 I feel like if everything goes right, I should be able to break 1:28 - that would be about 6:40/mile. My current plan is to start out at 6:45/mile and see how that feels. If it feels good, I will speed up and hold it for as long as I can. |
