Well, after a day and a half of running, my back decided it wasn't healed yet, and my calf was still pretty sore this morning, so I have officially decided to shut it down for the rest of the week and let my back completely heal. Missing one week of training is not going to be the end of the world. Pending a full recovery, I will plan on starting back up next Monday, and will make sure I take it nice and easy when I start back up again. No sub-8:00 miles for at least a few days. I am feeling surprisingly calm about this, after feeling so frustrated this morning. |
