Personal:

I was married in 1997 to my beautiful wife Lybi (confessions of a piano teacher on the blog), and we have 3 wonderful boys who are just as active as I was when I was little (he he). I grew up in southeastern Michigan, and my family became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 6. I attended BYU, and served a mission in Berlin, Germany. After graduating from BYU with a degree in Health and Human Performance (pre-physical therapy), I promptly changed careers and started working with computers (although no programming for me). We have moved across the country several times, and currently live in Mesa, AZ.  I work in computer security for a major nationwide homebuilder.

Felt much better today.  Ran 2.1 miles with Lybi, Sam, Joseph, Adam and Sparky (2 in the double jogging stroller, one running, and one of us holding the leash).  It felt good to get out and run, even if the pace was super slow.  Then I did another 2.9 miles later to make it an even 5 miles for the day.

I'm glad your feeling better and you're up and running again.

I am glad you are feeling better today James. Are you running Ogden Marathon in May, or are you running Striders 1/2 in April with Lybi? Just curious...

From James W on Fri, Feb 15, 2008 at 15:41:59

Right now I am planning on doing Striders with Lybi, and am currently shooting for the Shiprock marathon on May 5 in Shiprock, NM. However, if plans have to change, Ogden would probably be my second choice as it is right around the same time. I want to get in a marathon before June either way.

I will see you at strider's too... I still haven't decided on Ogden yet, but I guess I better make up my mind soon...
